WOW! So I come on very rarely these days and was super stoked to find out that my picture of Gosling Lake in Huntsville Ontario was given a Daily Deviation!



I see that many people were upset with the fact that my simple little picture was given such a huge spotlight. Some folks were "hoping" it was a stock picture. Others said it was mediocre.

The fact is I did not choose for this photo to be given a DD. I took this picture because the place itself was very special to my husband and I. I shared it in my gallery with the hopes that others would see it's beauty. Insulting it doesn't really offend me any because I am very happy with the way it turned out. I am by no means a professional photographer and I felt it was definitely one of my more impressive shots. If you disagree with it being a DD it would make more sense to let the gallery director know instead of slamming my skills or lack thereof.

If you are still miffed - go check out my OTHER dd and perhaps it will unbunch your panties a bit. Maybe it will be a more deserving and impressive image for your artistically gifted eyes.
