 that is... truly amazing work especially on the eyes. they're what i liked best about the original photo too.
the form over her forehead is just brilliant. and i really really like the color choices and coordination here. i'd write a real critique because i'd love to extend the gesture/be part of the community but i'm just so damn chickenshitted.  so that feature will remain as unused for me as news submission.-- ALL THE COOL KIDS ARE READING IT Don't expect the best, you won't be disappointed when you take a bite and watch the worm crawl back inside.  very cool!! i love the colors

Critiques
I also love the sheer detail in the eyes, they're beautiful. The mix of different colours and value really show the swirling emotions this piece makes me feel.
There are only two things that bother me in the piece-- the first being the abstract blue apparition. While I do think it looks very nice and goes well with the piece, something about it is just a bit off. I don't think it's really blended well; It sort of looks just...put there. I'm not entirely sure what you could do to fix this, however. Perhaps a shadow or something? I'm not sure if it would take away from the abstract-ness, though.
The only other thing is the teardrop, and the reasons are the same for the abstract. Again, I'm not sure what you could do to fix it, sorry
Overall, though, awesome work
But...there is a comment on this one that says most of it: The eyes; and in them wonder, awe, fear. Most of the face is cut off, so the eyes truly are the window to the soul, showing a solitary tear, and a reflection that hints that the viewer is part of the piece, suggests that you may have the answer.
The composition is solid. The colors and shape of the abstract object has a reflective and metallic quality that is matched by the grey/silver tone of the subject and her piercings. The subject counters the color with a splash of the same blues around her eyes. The yellow serves to balance with the heavy eye makeup of the model, drawing the watcher's gaze back and forth between the abstact formation and the concrete eyes . The blues also enhance the metallic feel of the piece.
A simple and stark photo matched with a complex and vivid digital creation. Jealousy...my final reaction as well.
