I am still mourning the loss of David aka ....
I've heard all the comments people make to someone who is mourning the loss of a loved one.

"He's in a better place."
and "He's at peace".

"He isn't feeling pain anymore" or "He's watching over you now."

There is no malice in anyone saying these things. They are just standard stuff.
Mostly due to the fact that they are true...regardless of how much it sucks to hear them..
What do you say to someone who is hearbroken over the loss of a loved one?

I'm going to learn from David's example while in this world and say
....NOTHING.
Sometimes it's better just to listen.
Sometimes just being there and saying "I'm here" is enough.

His stock photography was high quality - fun to work with - and ALWAYS interesting. A far cry from the standard stocky goodness - he tried to find things that were unusual to add to the mix of standards like butterflies and grassy fields (mind you...he had some really pretty butterflies and grassy fields too! hehehe!)
